POP UP FUNDRAISER- Karla's Journey

This fundraiser will be a classic Club Cardio dance fitness class, where 100% of the proceeds collected will be given back to SQUAD member, Karla, as she continues her fight against breast cancer. We plan on using the funds to purchase Doordash and other food gift cards so that Karla doesn't have to worry about meals while she is resting her body.

A little bit about Karla's Journey: In June of this year, Karla underwent her regular mammogram as part of her preventive care. In the mammogram they found a mass which prompted them to complete a breast biopsy. Unfortunately, the biopsy came back as an invasive lobular carcinoma. The good news is that it was small in size and considered Stage 1! This past month, she underwent a surgical procedure to remove the mass, and is currently waiting for the next steps in her treatment plan. Overall, Karla is feeling well, but could use some additional support and good energy from the SQUAD. Most importantly, Karla wants to remind you take care of yourself and GET YOUR ANNUAL SCREENINGS DONE!
