The viral speech and lasting impact of Dr. John A. Schindler
Introduced by Tom Mitchell
Thursday, January 8 at 6:00 pm at Monroe Public Library

Dr. John A. Schindler of Monroe was one of hundreds of speakers at Farm and Home Week in 1949 at the University of Wisconsin. His topic was “How to Live One Hundred Years … Happily.” This talk thrust him into the national spotlight and led to publication of his perennially popular book “How to Live 365 Days a Year.”

Listen to Dr. Schindler’s classic speech, along with an introduction and Q&A with local historian Tom Mitchell. All are welcome.

Presented in partnership with Green County Historical Society.
