We’re rushing into December and it feels like a blur. But I love this time of year. The brighter lights, the colder nights, and suddenly every gathering feels like it needs something extra—something bold, warm, and super luxe. So, for our final wine night of the year, I’m going upscale and leaning all the way into the holidays with a lineup that’s rich, deep, and fiercely flavorful. Let's slow down and savor it all!
This month, we’re taking a Spanish winter journey—think velvet-dark reds, roaring fires, and the kind of wines that make you forget there’s anything on your to-do list except pouring another glass. We’ll explore the elegant power of Rioja, the warm spice and lush fruit of Garnacha, and even a gorgeous Albariño that proves white wine absolutely belongs at the holiday table. These are wines built for feasts, laughter, and late-night storytelling.
And then… we open the showstopper.
A finale worthy of a December celebration: Parabellum Alluvio, a muscular, high-end Bordeaux-style blend with depth, structure, and presence. This is the bottle that makes the room go quiet for a moment. The one you save for “the good company.”
And of course, there will be bubbles! We’ll start with a sparkly cava, and for those who linger a bit late, maybe some aged port to finish the night.
