Almost, Maine is an ensemble play about 9 different couples in various stages of falling in or out of love. In the original production, the nine couples were played by two female and two male actors. The number of actors in this production will not be determined until after auditions. We anticipate that we will cast between 12 and 19 actors and that actors may play multiple roles, depending on audition turn out. The monologues selected for auditions are representative of the characters in Almost, Maine.

Luke Strong--Pete, late teens to early 30s, dating Ginette.
Colby Arnold--Ginette, late teens to early 30s, dating Pete.

Aiden Freitas--Man/East 20s to 30s, a repairman.
Ellie Fallows--Woman/Glory 20s to 30s, a hiker.
SAD AND GLAD (scene 2)
Ethan Penner--Jimmy, 20s to early 30s, a heating and cooling guy.
Isabella Alcaraz--Sandrine, 20s to early 30s, Jimmy’s ex-girlfriend.
Ariah Sanve--Waitress/Villian, 20s to early 30s, a salty waitress.
THIS HURTS (Scene 3)
Maryam Moon--Woman/Marvalyn, 20s or early 30s, a woman very good at protecting herself.
Jack Fallows--Man/ Steve, 20s or early 30s, an open, kind fellow whose brother protects him.
GETTING IT BACK (Scene 4)
Jordin LaRussa--Gayle, 20s to early 30s, longtime girlfriend of Lendall.
Collin Lowell--Lendall, 20s to early 30s, longtime boyfriend of Gayle.

Luke--Pete, late teens to early 30s, dating Ginette. (Also appears in PROLOGUE and EPILOGUE).

Andrew Strong--Randy, 20s, Chad’s pal, a “county boy.”

Joseph Alzubaidee--Phil, 30s to 40s, Marci’s husband, a hard working man.
Ashleigh Stone--Marci, 30s to 40s, Phil’s wife, a hard working woman.
STORY OF HOPE
Leila Abraha--Woman/Hope late 30s to 50s, has traveled the world.
Nathan Penner--Man/Daniel late 30s to 50s, has not traveled the world. He must be either short or thin (or could be both).
Ariah Sanve--Suzette (voice offstage) may be any age but “sounds” 30s to 50s.
SEEING THE THING
Lindsay Logan--Rhonda, 20s to early 30s, a tough woman.
Ethan Guaragna--Dave, 20s to early 30s, not-so-tough man who loves Rhonda.
EPILOGUE
