Summer Farm Camp at Fox Farm is a unique and perfect mix of educational activities, active games, spending time with horses, sheep, chickens and a cow, lots of creativity, art studio time, and hanging out with friends! Contact us to reserve a spot in one or more of our camps this summer!
Here’s the details for this week!
Time: 9-3 M-Th, and 9-noon on Fri.
IN ADDITION, there will be the option to Campout in a tent on Thursday evening. (Campers who wish to stay MUST exhibit good behavior and cooperative attitude ALL week in order to be able to do the overnight!)
*There will be an end-of-camp art and animal showcase on Friday at 11:30, where all the kids art from the week will be on display, and kids can show parents their favorite animal or something cool they learned! The show should only take about 20-30 minutes!
Ages 10-15
Cost $365 plus additional $25 if staying for the campout. (Your child can decide on this part later if unsure.)
($25 early bird discount will be applied if registered by Feb 15)
Each child gets a 2025 camp T-shirt!
What to expect:
Campers will start the day visiting and feeding our animals! We have horses, sheep, chickens, and a cow, and they all like visitors and scratches! We will learn some new things about the animals and/or plants and the kids will get to clean and wash a fleece from one of our sheep, then use the wool for a project!
Kids will play games like capture the pig, Sardines, and hide and seek tag… and have daily Art sessions in the studio, including some sewing or weaving (TBD) and even have a chance to do some cooking in the farmhouse kitchen!
There will be time for socializing the newest chicks arriving this spring, grooming horses, learning and practicing some basic riding/horsemanship skills, snuggling sheep. And various other activities throughout the week, all while making new friends!
This week is always a ton of fun and we end the week with a Campout in our orchard! (Optional and not required at all!)
What to bring:
Lunch
Water bottle

Bug spray and sunscreen (if desired)
Tent, pillow, overnight stuff (on campout day)

Electronics
Inappropriate clothing (please no crop tops)
HOW TO SIGN UP:
1. Send us a pm with your child’s name, age, tshirt size, and your name phone number, email, and mailing address
2. We will email you an invoice for the non-refundable retainer ($50). Retainers should be paid within 24 hrs unless other arrangements are made.
3. Once your invoice is paid, your spot is reserved and your balance is due IN CASH by the first day of camp. (No checks please) If you need to make other arrangements, please contact us and we will work with you!
