About the event

SML Songwriters Festival Open Mic Contest
Local singers and songwriters are invited to showcase their talents in this weekly contest on Wednesdays, May 7th -June 18th.
(June 18th will be the grand finale and the overall winner will be chosen)

The winner will perform at the SML Songwriters Festival and the SML Wine Festival.

This is a fundraising event to benefit SML Good Neighbors and Veterans of American Legion Post 62 Smith Mountain Lake.
Voting is counted by audience donations ($1 equals 1 vote)
