SADDLE RESTORATION CLINIC NOTICE.
This inaugural 2025 ‘Saddle Restoration and Repair Clinic’ is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (approximately).

This 7-to-8-hour clinic will cover the following topics:
* The anatomy of a saddle, from the saddle strings to the Saddle Tree,
* Specialized tools and effective cleaning and conditioning products for professional results,
* Performing a Soundness/Safety Inspection and testing the saddle tree for damage,
* Disassembling a saddle, with varying concho types,
* Deep Cleaning & Conditioning procedures,
* Repairing or replacing degraded stitching,
* Refurbishing ‘Roughout’ surfaces, including Seats, Jockeys, and Fenders,
* Repairing the horn cover and replacing a horn wrap,
* Installing additional ‘Clip-Dees’ for Cruppers, Saddle bags, and accessories,
* Replacing worn-out Stirrup Leathers,
* Patching-in a reinforcement layer of skirting leather to repair torn or chewed portions,
* Replacing worn-out Sheepskin shearling,
* Reassembling a saddle and selecting the appropriate hardware,
* Filling stripped-out screw or screw-back concho holes,
* Replacing Latigo Saddle Strings,
* Applying a final ‘TanKote’ finish to achieve a “Like New” luster.
Note: Participants are encouraged to bring a saddle requiring specific repairs or attention .
