Join us for an evening of contrasts, conversation, and contemporary art as Bright & Brine opens two new solo exhibitions in one night!
In Room One: DRIFT
Annie LeBouthillier / SAUVAGE
https://www.artsauvage.ca/
To immerse oneself in the world of Sauvage is to resonate with the raw materials and the fierce beauty of nature. Annie LeBouthillier, an artist from Dieppe, NB, gives a new voice to forgotten materials, washed up by time or the tides. Through her Sauvage unique driftwood artwork project, she transforms driftwood into vibrant sculptures, furniture, and wall pieces, each imbued with poetry, memory, and meaning.
10% of all sales will be donated to the Atlantic Wildlife Institute.
In Room Two: Canadian National Parks
John Auger
https://www.jaugerart.com/
For John, creating art is a form of meditation, an escape from the stresses of everyday life. His art is a reflection of himself, his emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Each piece is part of his personal journey, infused with energy and emotion. While he loves to share his work, the process remains deeply personal, and his hope is that you find something in it that resonates with your own life. He currently works and resides in Salisbury, New Brunswick.
This event is free, but space is limited. RSVP by marking “Going” on this page or email
