This Culinary class series for homeschool youth is designed to teach practical baking and cooking skills to students 11-17 years old. It will introduce them to international cooking techniques, the many methods in which different cultures prepare and flavor their foods, and the history behind traditional dishes from around the world. Classes are two hours in length and at home work is also required for elective credit.
Classes will be held twice each month, Friday mornings from 11 am to 1 pm. All materials and supplies will be provided, and most allergies can be accommodated with advance notice.
Cost is $320 for the entire series of eight classes, per child and space is limited. If you sign up for a single class the cost is $50 per class. A further discount is available for siblings attending the same sessions, please contact Chef Rebecca for details.

Classes are led by Chef Rebecca Antill, a former youth services librarian and trained chef. Chef Rebecca earned her culinary certification at the Culinary Institute of Charleston and teaches community cooking classes for all ages around the Lowcountry area.
