Apprenticeship Networking Event

Are you considering an apprenticeship but unsure where to start?

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) is hosting a free Apprenticeship Networking Event on Thursday, 15 May, from 4pm to 8pm at the Errigal Country House Hotel, Cootehill.

With 77 apprenticeship options available, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore career pathways. CMETB’s apprenticeship team will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have.

More than 30 employers from various industries will be attending actively recruiting apprentices. For example - Combilift, Tusker, Obelisk, Callaghan Electrical, KBG Accountants and Castle Leslie Estate to name just a few. As well as hiring apprentices for the traditional crafts, employers are actively recruiting for the newer style of apprenticeships such as Civil Engineering, Telecommunications and Data Networking, Commis Chef, Hairdressing and Accounting Technician.

This is your chance to meet potential employers, learn about job openings, and discuss opportunities within their businesses.

In addition, representatives from CMETB’s wider training services, including Evening Courses, Traineeships, and Skills to Advance, will be available to provide information on further education and upskilling options.
