Diani Beach Zero Plastic Festival is an inaugural annual climate Action event that is aimed at calling to action tourists, beach operators, governments, businesses, environmental groups, youth groups and women groups to step forward and protect the oceans from the hazardous plastic waste.

Hinged on the World Ocean Day, the Diani Beach Zero Plastic Festival influences a communal environmental consciousness and Climate justice mentality through Beach Clean ups, Beach Sports, Arts, Fun, Foods, Dialogues, workshops and panel discussions all aimed at celebrating biodiversity and inclusion.
