Improvers Pastel Workshop

We'll spend the day completing this painting of "Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) together from photographs.

You can either follow me step-by-step or you can express your artistic freedom and interpret the scene in your own way.

Note that there will be limited formal introduction to pastels, materials or basic techniques at the beginning. It'll be assumed that you are already familiar with these. Instead, we'll get more or less straight into the painting. If you would prefer to have this introduction I strongly suggest you start with a beginners workshop, even if you've used pastels before.

Having said that, my workshops are very conversational in style so there will be plenty of opportunity for questions as we go along.

Everything you need for the workshop is provided, including professional standard artist's materials, lunch and refreshments.
