From Page to Stage - a Drama Workshop / New Member Event

Producing quality plays requires many hands; from actors to set designers, set builders, sound & lighting, marketing and communications, the list goes on. You don't need to have experience, just a keen interest and a desire to be involved in a community venture.

ABC Dramatics has existed since 1991, and is a financially secure, not-for-profit community society. BUT we need new members to build and maintain its legacy.

What can you expect at our new members drama evening:

With our guidance you will take a section of script (a comedy) and create a play in just a couple of hours. From initial 'read' to final bows, from 'blocking' and props, to sound and lights.

You will have the chance to discover, and get involved with everything that goes into creating a production.

No need to register, just turn up, enjoy the evening and a brew and biscuits.
