Join us for an exclusive evening of flowers, conversation, and creativity in the calm, plant-filled setting of The Ivy Hair Club — a beautiful, boutique salon in the heart of Mold. This intimate workshop is a collaboration between stylist and Plastic-Free Champion Caroline, and Ellen Firth of Firth Flock Flowers, sustainable flower grower and florist.
You’ll be guided through creating your own hand-tied bouquet using locally grown, seasonal flowers from Ellen’s flower farm near Ruthin. Along the way, she’ll share her approach to sustainable flower farming and floristry, with plenty of time for informal conversation and questions.
With its abundance of tropical plants, peaceful atmosphere, and holistic approach to beauty and wellness, The Ivy Hair Club offers the perfect backdrop for an evening of creativity. Caroline’s commitment to sustainability runs through everything she does — from eliminating single-use plastics to using refillable, eco-conscious products in the salon.
At Firth Flock Flowers, everything is grown without chemicals or plastic. Using no-dig methods and a flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep and Welsh Harlequin ducks for natural mulch, manure, and pest control, the farm is run as a circular, zero-waste system — working in harmony with the land and its natural ecosystem.
