Local Artists Shine in “SOUNDTRAXX”: A Celebration of Movie Magic Through Dance and Performance

SOUNDTRAXX, a dynamic dance and performing arts production, is hitting the stage this June at the renowned State Theatre in downtown Modesto. This electrifying show celebrates iconic movie soundtracks and showcases the extraordinary talents of local youth and professional performers alike.
Blending high-energy choreography, theatrical performance, and the unforgettable music of the silver screen, SOUNDTRAXX transports audiences through the emotional landscapes of beloved films—from action-packed blockbusters to heartwarming classics. Each number is carefully crafted to bring cinematic moments to life through movement and storytelling.
Directed and choreographed by Heather & Hollie Bettencourt, along with their incredible faculty, the production is a vibrant collaboration between dance, acting and stage performances unlike anything in our local area. Featuring performers aged 4 – 65 years of age, SOUNDTRAXX highlights the creativity, dedication, and spirit of the community’s rising stars. Strut Performing Arts wanted to create a show that connects generations and celebrates the power of music in film.
