Walk with a Doc: Amy Devereaux, DPT – Novant Health Physical Therapy

Novant Health has partnered with Walk with a Doc, an international non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire communities through movement and conversation. You’re invited to join Novant Health healthcare providers once a month at Davie County Community Park for a FREE health talk and walk. No pre-registration is required but participants will be asked to sign a waiver.

According to the American Heart Association, walking as little as 30 minutes a day can provide the following benefits:
>Improve blood pressure and blood sugar levels
>Help maintain a healthy body weight and lower the risk of obesity
>Enhance mental well-being
>Reduce the risk of osteoporosis

When: Every 2nd Saturday every month 9 am- 10 am

Where: Davie County Community Park (151 Southwood Drive, Mocksville, NC 27028)
Park and meet at the table near the splash pad
