Contemplating Composition with Derek Norman

JULY 23 – AUGUST 27, WEDNESDAYS - 5:30 – 8:00,

This class will review and study historical examples of composition from spatial concepts, theorties of scale, color, texture and perspective in sweep of historical works of composition that have evolved across the centuries.

Each student will have the opportunity to execute an assortment of compositional possibilities.
Exercises will be rendered in a variety of media and executed in a sketchy exploratory form.
