This week - The Afterglow: Living Pride every day

 There’s this sense of feeling or awareness during the month of June from all of society of the awareness of queer folks a very conscious loud screaming of it and while it does have harsher edges it is very much a delightful celebration because more so than the corporations and the general public? We decide it is so. We make it our month and fully indulge in the celebration of us taking each day to be loud proud and sharing in that celebratory nature of us.

But there’s no reason to stop. There’s no reason to do it only for that one month. And this this is a reminder of that. To celebrate oneself for being oneself every single day of the year by yourself and with everyone that loves you. Because you matter. And we love you.

An open mic about queer stories. Simple as that honestly. Artists in ways of storytelling poetry comedy and songs always tell us about themselves the softness of their emotions in affection or just.. love? A constant. A space to feel accepted understood and related to.
