The Writers' Room

The Writers' Room is a drop-in writing group led by Clare Jones that provides a free and welcoming space for anyone who is working on writing. Bring whatever you write with: laptop, journal, notepad, etc. We check in for 10 minutes, write independently for 40 minutes, then wrap up for 10 minutes.
We do not workshop submissions. We just write together in the same space. The Writers' Room aims to meet every first and third Wednesday from 6–7pm at the Schwarz Jacobson Meeting Room of the Tompkins County Public Library. No registration is required. All are welcome. You might want to check this space to make sure we are meeting before you come by.
Clare Jones is a writer and editor. Her writing has been supported by fellowships from Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, the Fulbright Program, and the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
