Reanimation Orchestra meets ANDREAS VOCCIA

Reanimation Orchestra is a dynamic group of musicians united by the desire to dissolve the boundaries between the roles of composer, performer, and improviser. They present their work through a diverse range of sonic resources, encompassing string and brass instruments, as well as live and pre-recorded electronics:

Marie Takahashi (viola), JD Zazie (turntables, cdj), Ingólfur Vilhjálmsson (bass clarinet), Elo Masing (violin), Caroline Cecilia Tallone (prepared hurdy gurdy), Guilherme Rodrigues (cello), Jack Adler-McKean (tuba)

+ Andreas Voccia (electronics)

Andreas Voccia is a musician and video artist based in Berlin. Originally a trained guitar player, he now works with a modular synthesizer to implement compositional practices from contemporary classical music in an improvisational and responsive environment.
