Hollywood Summer Nights are back! We are showcasing TWO excellent classic movies a week on our big screen from May- September. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: The first full blown talkie from the biggest star of the silent era – Charlie Chaplin. Made right before the United States entered WWII, Chaplin plays the dual role of a kind barber who is mistaken for a tyrannical dictator. Taking direct aim at fascism and the Nazi regime, Chaplin employs a potent blend of slapstick mixed with political satire. THE GREAT DICTATOR is a masterful piece of cinema from a trailblazer of the film industry, culminating in an impassioned speech that still rings true today.
