Video Annotatathon // Call for Participation Open

On the 17th and 18th of September 2025, the Media Library for Dance and Theatre at ITI Germany will host its first 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 for performing arts-based video data.
The event is open to researchers, students, archivists and practitioners in the field of performing arts, as well as coders from cultural and research backgrounds.
Join us for two days of active annotation practice with video materials from the fields of dance and theatre using 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, a video annotation tool used for many years in performing arts. The event program contains a mix of presentations and inputs, ideation, hands-on collaborative annotation and coding sessions, as well as open discussions.
