Our goal is to let first-timers experience the power of Afro-Cuban instruments in a group groove β and to help dancers feel the deep connection between music and movement by learning the rhythms from the inside out.
the workshop will be led by Angel Candeaux & Kimo
We'll be playing the essential instruments of Cuban rumba, including:
πͺ Congas (tumbadora, segundo, quinto)
πΆ Clave
π Cata (wood block)
π Shekere & cowbell
