Modern Butchood by Molly Gloeckner is a scripted, fictional solo-show. This distinctive black comedy follows Butch, the girlfriend of a semi-famous lesbian Tik-Toker. Feeling caught in her relationship, and loosing touch with her individuality, Butch begins sneaking out of her apartment at night. What follows is a quickly unraveling tale of lust, guilt, mistakes, and queer identity. Modern Butchood is equal parts laugh out loud funny, touchingly vulnerable, and inescapably human.
