Bio Bio — Open Air Cinema at Haven 🎦🍿
This summer, Haven transforms into a backyard cinema under the sky 🌃 Welcome to Bio Bio — our new open-air film series where we’re screening cult classics, hidden gems, and unforgettable stories for free.
We’ve set the scene with a big screen, cozy seating, and a brand new popcorn machine ready to fire. The bar will be open, the evenings long, and the atmosphere casual — come by solo, with friends, or drop in midway through.
It’s cinema without the rules, just how we like it.
UPCOMING DATES

Pusher I–III (Nicolas Winding Refn)
Our first night is Wednesday, May 21, and we’re kicking things off with a bang — all three films in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Pusher Trilogy. Raw, gritty, and iconic, these films helped define the Danish crime genre and launched Mads Mikkelsen's career.
Please note: These films contain graphic violence and are recommended for ages 15 and up.

Valhalla (1986) vs Valhalla (2019)
Two films. One myth.
For the second edition of Bio Bio, we travel from Midgård to Asgård in the company of Thor, Loke, and two mortal children: Tjalfe and Røskva. First in the 1986 animated cult classic based on Peter Madsen’s beloved comics — then in Fenar Ahmad’s 2019 reimagining, where the gods are falling, and belief is breaking apart.
It’s a story about giants, goats, cosmic mischief, and the quiet power of ordinary mortals — told in two very different cinematic languages, across more than 30 years of Danish film history.

Gammel Dansk
This Wednesday, we’re heading back to the good old Danish days — or were they really that great? Join us under the summer sky for a nostalgic comedy double feature, packed with commune dreams and crumbling fishing empires.
To help ease the flashbacks, we’ll be serving 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 Gammel Dansk — the kind of shot people actually drank in the 70s and 80s, before we figured out alcohol could taste nice.
🎞 Det Store Flip (1997)
Copenhagen, 1972. Christoffer’s parents dive headfirst into hippie life with hash, communes, and Marx — much to his teenage dismay.
🎞 Bornholms Stemme (1999)
Early 1980s Bornholm. Captain Lars Erik rules the waves — until fishing quotas and shifting tides threaten everything the island’s fishing kings hold dear.
Det Store Flip will feature Danish subtitles.
