Did you know that Volunteer Strathcona will be marking our 50th anniversary in September 2026?

That’s a whole lot of volunteering to honour and celebrate!

The theme for our 50th year is “Rooted in Community, Grown Over Time.” We want to honour our shared history while looking forward to the next 50 years of supporting volunteers as they grow community in Strathcona County.

As we prepare to celebrate five decades of community-rooted impact, we’re reminded that our organization belongs to all of us in Strathcona County.

At our AGM on June 23, we are taking the next step towards working more closely with all of our partners in Strathcona County as we renew our collective investment in community connection.

We are inviting community organizations and community volunteers to come out to join us at our AGM for:

-A review of the past year
-Free membership sign-ups
-Open discussion on our 50th anniversary & volunteerism in Strathcona County
-Community connection & cookies
