Acts of Resistance: The Power of Art to Make a Better World

Do you believe in the power of art to change hearts and minds towards a better world? Sharing insights from her book 'Acts of Resistance: The Power of Art to Make a Better World, Amber Massie-Blomfield will be joined by one of poetry's strongest female voices, Louise Fazackerley, who went viral with a poem exploring young identity and what it means to be 'British', delivering a set of poems to make you ponder. The evening concludes with a conversation with author, librettist and creative writing tutor, Toby Litt. This uplifting event will encourage ways to perceive the world beyond the frameworks a broader media might suggest is the current norm.
