A Decent Conversation: How We Can Change Our Community and Country

On Wednesday, July 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., All Saints will host a gathering of people of faith and good will to discuss the urgent matters affecting our common life in this country. Two award-winning Alabama writers, Frye Gaillard and our own Cynthia Tucker, will be our presenters for the occasion. Frye is a noted writer, journalist, and historian; and Cynthia is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and social commentator. Both will offer their perspectives as to the state of affairs affecting our country. We hope their presentations might engender lively conversation among us as to how we live together with integrity; how we embody the truth for our world; and perhaps, if there is any wisdom among us, a creative way forward. Please mark your calendars for this important event.
Parking is available in All Saints' two parking lots: 1) directly behind the church buildings, accessible from Ann Street; 2) across the street from the church in the lot at the corner of Ann and Selma Streets.
A wheelchair ramp is located on the front of the church, on the Government Street side of the property.
This event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
