Moab Women's Festival presents the Decompress Fest. It is a 2-day gathering in the heart of Moab designed to help you slow down, breathe deeper, and shake off the pressure of modern life—whether through movement, stillness, laughter, or total absurdity.
Day 1 choose from a full lineup of workshops: breathwork, desert yoga, hands-on herbalism, off-road adventures, art-making, Taiko drumming, and more. It’s a build-your-own-reset kind of weekend—with space for quiet introspection or communal silliness.
By night, things loosen up. Expect live music, drag, DJs, pole artistry, stand-up comedy, and a late-night variety show —because honestly, it’s more fun when it gets a little weird.
Day 2 closes out with a joyful, sweaty exhale—live bands, bold performers and an artisan marketplace. Just come as you are—tender, tired, turned-on by life or barely holding it together—and let the desert hold the rest.
Info: Pop-up tattoo salon where every line is a breath, every design a release. Info: Step into rhythm and out of your head. This Taiko drumming workshop with Moab Taiko Dan offers a powerful way to move energy, quiet mental noise, and reconnect with your body.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of this Japanese drumming tradition—focused movement, deep
listening, and group connection—while letting the sound and repetition do what it does best: clear
space inside you.
Info: n a world full of noise and overthinking, meditation helps us return to stillness. It trains the mind to stay present, bringing calm, clarity, and resilience.
Chanting is one of the most ancient forms of meditation—used for thousands of years across cultures to quiet the mind and connect to something greater. At the heart of chanting lies OM—the sacred sound of the universe.
OM (A–U–M) represents the cycle of life: waking, dreaming, and deep sleep… earth, atmosphere, and heaven… body, mind, and spirit. When we chant OM, we align with the rhythm of the universe and our own inner harmony.
Info: This energizing power yoga class blends dynamic movement and strength-building flows with a calming thread of mindful decompression. You’ll sweat and stretch through powerful sequences, then gradually shift into deeper release and stillness. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to move with intention, build heat, and leave class feeling strong in the body, clear in the mind, and grounded in breath.
Info: You are what you eat… but more than that, you are what you absorb. Join Emily for a journey through the digestive system, exploring herbs and nutrients that can support its different
functions along the way. Most of the body’s immune tissue and nervous system tissue lies within the gut, and supporting digestion is often the root of vitality. We will be herb tasting in the
apothecary and exploring the root of some common digestive imbalances.
Info: Enter a cosmic portal of transformation with 9D Breathwork, a multi-sensory, shamanic journey that uses only the breath to awaken the deepest parts of your being. Guided by Letia Perry, Navajo medicine woman and sacred spacekeeper, this experience weaves together powerful breath patterns, sound healing, somatic cues, and guided transmission to access altered states of consciousness. Release, reclaim, and remember who you truly are. This is
more than breathwork; it’s a ceremony of liberation.
Info: Our emotions cause a physiological impact on our health—mentally, physically, and socially—whether we are aware of it or not. The point is to become more aware, more of the time.
This interactive class will provide a brief overview of the science and
practice of living more in sync, coherent lives for greater resilience, self-
regulation and performance.
Info: This class is all about slowing down and giving your body and mind a break. We'll move gently, just enough to release tension, then settle into longer-held stretches and supportive shapes that help you fully let go. Expect breath-work, gentle cues, and a relaxing vibe.
