Community Concert: Free Event

Rocky Mountain Power Community Concert:
The annual Labor Day concert gives our community a taste of what Moab Music Festival is all about.

Moab’s Old City Park has beautiful shade trees, plenty of room to spread out on the lawn, and free parking! The festival provides some seating at this family-friendly, free, afternoon program and concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or camp chairs. Picnics are welcome.

Performances:
A lively contradance by Moab’s own Community Dance Band opens the show; WindSync dazzles with virtuosic chamber music selections for wind quintet; percussionists Ian Rosenbaum and Andy Akiho impress with a marimba and steel pan duo; and members of Latin-fusion band People of Earth bring the heat to close a beautiful afternoon concert on the Old City Park lawn.
Visit our snack booth for sweet treats and drinks! Proceeds support the Grand County Strings program.
