Nurture & Nourish: Lactation & Postpartum Support Session for Black Mothers

Nurture & Nourish is an in-person lactation and postpartum support workshop created to empower, educate, and uplift Black mothers and birthing individuals. Hosted by The She Rose Foundation USA (Washington D.C. and Prince George's County, MD Chapters) in partnership with Birth & Milk Co. and M.A.M.A, this healing-centered experience will offer culturally competent guidance on navigating postpartum wellness, breastfeeding, self-care, and support systems.

Led by trusted experts in maternal health, the workshop will include:

• A lactation support session with tips, education, and live Q&A
• Postpartum wellness guidance to manage physical and emotional changes
• Culturally aligned resources tailored for Black mothers
• Community-building activities and space to connect with others
• Light refreshments and vendor information tables
