A great prep for hunt season, green horse or pony schooling, or just a fun opportunity to ride an outside course! Come on out and join us for a relaxed hunter trials with classes offered at 2', 2'6"+, and leadline!
Membership in a hunt club is NOT required, all are welcome!
Attire: Ratcatcher, or polo shirts with breeches or jodhpurs, and boots. Approved helmets mandatory for all riders while mounted.
Fees: $15/class. Online entry encouraged and available soon!
Schedule:
Morning schooling for 2’ horses/ponies 6:30 am – 7:45 am
1. California warm-up 2’
2. Future Foxhunters O/F 2’
3. Future Foxhunters Handy 2’
4. Future Foxhunters Under Saddle
5. Future Foxhunters Pairs O/F 2’
Future Foxhunters Champion and Reserve Champion awarded to the horse/pony accruing the most points in classes 2, 3, 4.
Overall High Point Future Foxhunter awarded to the horse/pony accruing the most points in classes 2, 3, 4, and 5.
6. Leadline (riders age 10 and under)
Schooling for 2’6” horses/ponies to be run concurrently with Leadline.
7. California warm-up 2’6”
8. Foxhunters O/F 2’6”+
9. Foxhunters Handy 2’6”+
10. Foxhunters Under Saddle
11. Foxhunters Pairs O/F 2’6”+
Foxhunters Champion and Reserve Champion awarded to the horse/pony accruing the most points in classes 8, 9, 10.
Overall High Point Foxhunter awarded to the horse/pony accruing the most points in classes 8, 9, 10, and 11.
High Point Junior awarded to the rider under age 18 accruing the most points overall.
High Point Hunt awarded to the club whose members accrue the most points overall.
Horses/ponies may NOT cross-enter into both the Future Foxhunter and Foxhunter divisions.
Negative Coggins for all horses and waiver for all riders required.
