Robin Auld and Schalk Joubert LIVE at Sandi's Bistro

Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh sound of Robin Auld. Well known to SA audiences from massive hits like All of Woman and Baby you been good, Robin's music over the years has evolved from the poprock sound of his early recordings to the contemporary mix of blues and roots that makes his sound today.

His latest album “The Everlovin’ Wind” had two entries in the Mix FM national charts with “Underground” making No 4 and “Country Mile” No 1.

Robin will be joined by one of SA’s top musicians, Schalk Joubert on bass. One of SA's top bassists who has played with the cream of SA's artists as well as many international acts, he brings an improvisational energy to Robin's blues, folk, reggae and African influences, along with interpretations of songs by other classic artists such as Hendrix and Dylan.
