Join us for a vibrant celebration of life at Dia de los Muertos, hosted by The Stage Hub on November 1st at THE STRIPED HORSE in MUIZENBERG. This isn't a day for sorrow, but a joyful festival to honor and remember the beautiful souls—our family, friends, and beloved pets—who have passed on.
A FEAST FOR THE SENSES
As the sun begins its gentle descent, we'll be guided into the evening by the masterful DJ Myster-I. His melodies will dance on the air, weaving a rich tapestry of Gypsy Punk, Southern Goth, and other delectable soundscapes, setting the perfect stage for our main act.
Then, prepare to be swept away on a thrilling rollercoaster of sound with the legendary The Dukes of Note! You'll be tapping your feet and raising your voice to a collection of familiar sing-alongs, songs you'll swear you know, and a few cool new tunes that will quickly become your favorites.
As the night deepens, our very own Minstrel.Princess will enchant you with song, dance, and delightful ditties, warming the atmosphere and making sure you're ready to hit the bar for some refreshments.
Finally, the night will belong to The Reanimator, who will spin a selection of dance-floor classics and hidden gems, ensuring we dance the night away in joyful communion.
PRACTICAL MAGIC
The festivities begin at 4:00 PM! Come early to soak in the atmosphere, grab a spot, and share some of The Striped Horse's legendary Nachos platters with your crew. From 7:30 PM onward, there will be a door charge, so be sure to have your cash or card ready.
This Dia de los Muertos, let's turn our grief into gratitude, our sadness into song, and our memories into a magnificent, vibrant celebration. We can't wait to see you there!
