Admiral’s Regatta 2025: Celebrating 35 years of sailing excellence
First held in 1991, the Admiral’s Regatta has become a classic fixture in the Western Cape yachting calendar. Now in its 35th year, the event offers unique sailing conditions and some of the most scenic racing in South Africa.
Hosted by Hout Bay Yacht Club, the regatta’s warm welcome draws entries from Royal Cape Yacht Club, False Bay Yacht Club, Gordon’s Bay Yacht Club, and visiting sailors from further afield. With its combination of competitive racing, camaraderie, and stunning surroundings, Admiral’s Regatta remains one of the most anticipated sailing weekends of the year.
This year, we’re expecting 100+ entries at one of the only offshore dinghy regattas in the Cape Town sailing calendar.
