The Care Garden - A Sensory Oasis for Children
Planet Child After School & Childcare is creating a space designed to support the sensory needs of the amazing children we work with. Many of them thrive through sensory experiences, and this garden will be a powerful tool to help them learn, grow, and connect with the world around them.
With your help, we can transform this project into something truly incredible. We’re envisioning:
• A Playhouse
• Whispering tree
• A cozy potting shed
• A sensory path for feet and fingers
• A giant hammock
• Outdoor musical instruments
• A charming timber veggie stand where children can sell the produce they grow
• A water area
• Butterfly haven
• Wings of Grace Bird sanctuary
• Petal & Grace flower garden
• A bunny nook
We’re not just reaching out to families and friends but also reaching out to local businesses in hopes of getting donations of plants that attract butterflies —to enhance pollination in our orchard and berry patch!
