🍓 Clarkson Village Strawberry Festival – Throughout June 2025 🍓
Join us in June to enjoy the past and present of Clarkson Village!
Did you know that Clarkson Village was once known as the Strawberry Capital of Ontario? 🌱🍓 In the 19th century, when the area was a rural farming community, settlers found much success growing strawberries.
In keeping with this aspect of our history, the Clarkson Village BIA is planning a month-long Strawberry Festival. Throughout the month of June, join us for themed events and activities that share information on our history and bring our community together.
Strawberry Festival Highlights Include:
🚶♀️ Historic Walks on June 7, 11 & 20
🍰 Strawberry-Themed Mini-Markets on June 8 & 22 at The Clarkson Pump
🍓 BIA Morning Mix & Mingle: Strawberry Edition with Heritage Mississauga on June 18
🎊 ‘Berry Bash' Community Event – June 21
🚗 'Sweet Rides' Classic Car Show – June 29
🍹Strawberry-inspired menus at participating local restaurants
🍓Strawberry Scavenger Hunt throughout the village sponsored by Saga Summer Day Camp

Museums of Mississauga is also planning a number of strawberry-related events at both the Bradley Museum and Benares Historic House in June, and our staff have worked together to coordinate these activities.
