We hope you will consider joining the Vancouver Mini Club on this year’s 2025-Spring Escape in support of Diabetes to the South Okanagan Valley visiting Peachland and Penticton.
Saturday, May 3rd
8:30 am-Driver’s Meeting / 9:00am START at Mission Springs Pub (7160 Oliver Street Mission, BC V2V 6K5) in Mission, BC. Please arrive with your car already fuelled.
During the driver’s meeting, we will collect the $50.00/car-Entry Fee which includes up to 2-Picnic Lunches on Saturday. We will also provide an Information Sheet with details about the driving routes and schedule for both days.
This year we are happy to once again invite members of the Vancouver Mini Cooper Club, Victoria Minis Car Club and our friends from Washington State’s PNW MINIacs Club.
Accommodation on Saturday night will be at Days Inn & Conference Centre by Windham Penticton. This hotel offers free parking, spacious well-appointed rooms, Internet, TV, Indoor Pool, Restaurant and also includes breakfast on Sunday morning. Note: You must reserve your hotel before the April 26 Cut-Off Date to get the special room rate.

While in Penticton
We can either all try a restaurant for dinner together or dine in smaller groups at different restaurants. Regardless of your preference, you will find numerous dining options for every kind of cuisine and price-point. Maybe consider having dinner at one of the local wineries. Afterwards, if gambling is your thing, there are a few casinos in town.
If you are coming from either Vancouver Island or Washington State, you may want to consider arriving the day before the event start and staying at the Super 8 by Wyndham, 1881 Sumas Way, Abbotsford (Tel: 1-604-853-1141).
