How to Re:Wild Your Campus

For our July 12th Chapter Meeting, we are happy to welcome Mackenzie Feldman from Re:wild Your Campus, an organization leading a nationwide movement to transform campuses into vibrant, sustainable, and safe environments. Starting with these places of living and learning, they are creating a new way of living in sync with nature.

Mackenzie's presentation will offer ways for everyone to get involved, either as a student or community member, through the lens of pesticide reduction and increased biodiversity on campus grounds and community spaces for the sake of human and environmental health.

Meet our speaker: Mackenzie Feldman is an environmental activist from Honolulu, Hawai'i, and is the Founder and Co-Director of Re:wild Your Campus. She holds a B.S. from UC Berkeley in Society and Environment and an M.S. from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Agricultural, Environmental, and Sustainability Sciences. She is a 2024-2025 Obama Foundation USA Leader. Mackenzie is also co-author, with her mother Kathy, of the plant-based cookbook Groundbakers.
