Archery Basics

Learn about archery safety and techniques before trying your hand at hitting the bullseye.

Using National Archery in Schools (NASP) techniques, learn about archery safety and how to properly use a bow. Then practice your skills and see if you can hit the bullseye!

Requirements: Participants must be 10 years of age or up.

Meet: Park Headquarters, Tram Turnaround.
NOTE: Arrive 15-30 minutes before the scheduled time to check in. The shuttle to the archery range leaves on time. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

Bring: Water, weather appropriate clothing, bug spray, and sunscreen

Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.).
