This year's Laughs For Life is going to be an incredible night of comedy for you to enjoy, and a great opportunity for you to contribute to the American Cancer Society.
Our show will feature Ron Ruhman. Ron headlines clubs, colleges, corporate and Church events, throughout the United States. He has appeared on numerous television shows including Americas Funniest People, Comedy Time TV, KTLAs “Find me a Comic”, and COZI TV, and worked on several motion pictures including “Forget Paris” with Billy Crystal. Ron has been serving as MC for Relay for Life events for more than ten years. Ron is excited to be a part of Relay For Laughs and hopes to bring plenty of the best medicine as he honors his father and his aunt Kathy who both lost their battle to cancer. “They were big fans of my comedy”.
The show will also include Keith Michael Ashton and Jenna Perry.
Hailing from Brooklyn, NY and now making audiences roar with laughter throughout the world including Iceland, Vietnam, and China, Keith Michael Ashton has been featured on CBS, Comedy Central, BET, and Trinity Broadcasting Network. He's also made appearances in national commercials and independent films, proving that his comedic chops extend from the stage to the screen. Keith is thrilled to be participating in the show and helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Jenna Perry enjoys writing and performing clean comedy. She draws her comedy topics from her real-life experiences as a wife, mother, church member, and school counselor. Jenna was the 2019 winner of the Funniest Housewives Competition and has had the privilege of performing with the Funniest Housewives all female comedy group for the past 6 years. Jenna has enjoyed performing at the Brea Improv, the Irvine Improv, the Coach House and many other comedy venues and churches around Orange and San Diego Counties.
Jenna is excited to help raise money for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Laughs. After losing her stepfather to cancer in 2019 and several friends to breast cancer, she knows the importance of continuing cancer research. There is no better way to do that than a night of laughter!
Keeping things running smoothly and adding comedy throughout the evening will be our host, Jim Taylor! Jim produced a monthly comedy show at the Irvine Improv for 12 years. He performs at clubs and corporate events throughout Southern California. Jim has served as MC at many Relay For Life events. He also organized and performed at Laughs for Life, a comedy show fund raiser for suicide prevention.
