A táncparkettet az oldalára fordító világhírű együttes a testek dinamikáját, az összetett koreográfiát, a legkülönbözőbb mászó- és függőtechnikákat egyetlen, harmonikus kifejezési formává gyúrta össze. Az Amelia Rudolph által Oaklandben alapított, Melecio Estrella művészeti vezetésével működő BANDALOOP újragondolja a táncot és aktivizálja a nyilvános tereket, amivel világszerte csodálatot vált ki közönségéből.
A bámulatos előadások változatos helyszíneken valósulnak meg, történelmi környezetben, ódon várfalakon éppúgy, mint nagyvárosok hipermodern felhőkarcolóinak üvegfelületein, a természetben, meredek sziklafalakon vagy használaton kívüli ipari épületeken. A BANDALOOP produkcióit huszonkét országban több millió ember látta már, néhány éve Budapesten is óriási sikerrel léptek fel, pontosabban másztak fel a falakra. Magyarországra visszatérve Miskolcon a Városháza épületét hódítják meg.

Turning the dance floor on its side, the world-famous ensemble has combined body dynamics, complex choreography, and a wide variety of climbing and hanging techniques into a single, harmonious form of artistic expression. Working under the artistic direction of Melecio Estrella, BANDALOOP, which was founded in Oakland by Amelia Rudolph, reimagines dance and activates public spaces, earning the admiration of audiences around the world.
The stunning performances take place in a variety of settings, from historical milieus, like ancient castle walls, to the glass surfaces of the hyper-modern skyscrapers of big cities, in the wild, on steep cliff faces, or on out-of-use industrial buildings. BANDALOOP’s performances have been seen by millions of people in 22 countries, and a few years ago they also took to the stage – or rather, the wall – in Budapest with great success. Back in Hungary, now they conquer the Town Hall building in Miskolc.
