Brown Bag Event

Our whole OSLC family is encouraged to participate in this quarter's Brown Bag Event which again benefits The Lord's Cupboard Food Pantry. Please meet on Saturday, January 24 at 11:00am at church to grab some brown paper bags that will be dropped off at area homes. Then on Saturday, January 31, please meet at 11:00am to pick up bags, bring filled bags back to church, and sort through items for donation. Anyone wishing to participate are welcome to do so! This event does qualify for Confirmation Servant Hours - students are able to stay after class on Wednesday, January 21 to staple flyers to the bags. There is a sign up sheet for all three dates on the youth bulletin board near the kitchen. In addition to community donations, our church family can to drop off needed items (see items listed below) by Sunday, February 1 in the shopping cart in fellowship hall. We are also collecting monetary donations. Contact Pastor Dan with questions at 360-961-9000.

Canned Meats
Peanut Butter & Jelly (cannot accept homemade)
Canned Veggies & Fruit (in juice-not syrup)
Nutritional Cereal
Macaroni & Cheese
Monetary Donations - which help make a big impact ($1 buys $25 of food!)
