Class Description:
We will explore the world of vanilla beans, extracts, paste, and other vanilla products. Class will include a tasting of vanillas from around the world, basics of homemade vanilla extract and vanilla paste.
Note: Extracts will be made with 80-90 proof neutral spirits (diluted grain alcohol or vodka). Vanilla beans from Papua New Guinea will be used for the extract along with various other origins for paste making.
