Squirrel Lake Musky Hunt 2025

The 43rd annual Squirrel Lake Musky Hunt will be Sept 6 & 7. Saturday fishing will be from 6 am to 8 pm, and Sunday fishing is from 6 am to 11 am.

Sign up will be at Musky Shores Bar (8329 Schroeder Rd, Minocqua). Cost is $30 per person. It does not matter how many people you have in the boat or what kind of boat. (We usually have a couple pontoons even). Most people stop the Friday night of to sign up or the week before, but feel free to sign up sooner. There is no meeting as in other musky tournaments.

The top three places will receive prizes.

We do ask that you do not use any front facing sonar as this is a fun family event and this allows everyone a better chance.

On Sunday, there will be a potluck with a main meat provided. There will also be beer, water, and soda which is included in the entry fee. Please bring a dish to pass according to the size of your attending group. After the meal, there will be a raffle for rods, reels, baits, and some other goods.

There will be tents for shade and folding chairs to sit on. Should you want to bring your own, feel free to do so.
