Women Who Whiskey Twin Cities Lynx Game Watch Party at A Bar of Their Own

Join the Women Who Whiskey Twin Cities Chapter in cheering on the #1 Minnesota Lynx against the #2 New York Liberty with a game-day watch party at A Bar of Their Own on August 19, 2025!

We've reserved A Bar of Their Own for a private watch party and you're invited. Support a woman-owned business while watching women's sports and partake in the camaraderie of other Women Who Whiskey!

The Minnesota Lynx are the winning-est sports team in Minnesota history with their dominance in the 2010s and are looking to reclaim their WNBA dynasty. With star players like Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride, and Courtney Williams and head coach Cheryl Reeve, the Lynx are a fantastic team that are a joy to watch and we're excited to share the experience with our guests. (Maybe we'll even get to celebrate with the electric slide!)

A Bar of Their Own opened in 2024 to solve the lack of options for viewing women's sports in public establishments at all, let alone venues that centered womens sports. "What if it was different? What if fans of women’s sports had a place to come together and cheer loudly for their favorite team on the biggest screen in the bar…with the sound on?" asked founder Jillian Hiscock. She set to become the answer to the question and now fans of womens sports can tune in to the game and gather over cocktails (many featuring women-backed spirits brands), mocktails, and tasty food.

Tickets are $66 ($73.93 with sales tax) and include a drink ticket, dinner buffet including Chips, Dips, Tots, Fries, Salad, Tracy's Wings (throwback!), Cauliflower Wings, and Brownies, and gratuity in a privately occupied space. Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

6:00 Lynx vs Liberty game stream begins. The game will be playing across multiple screens at A Bar of Their Own.

9:00 Event Concludes

Free street parking is available near the venue and a limited number of parking spots are available behind the building as well.
