About our special Guest:
Grady got his start DJing in the early 00’s in Chicago’s artist loft scene while living in and co-managing a live/work space on the city’s South side known as Texas Ballroom. There he crossed paths and played sets alongside artists like Tommie Sunshine, Johnny Love, and Total Freedom. In 2006 he relocated to Honolulu where he spent 5+ years as a resident at the now-defunct thirtyninehotel. During his time there he played with artists like DJ Garth, James Murphy, Prins Thomas, Thomas Bullock (aka Tom of England), and Eric Duncan (aka Dr. Dunks) along with fellow resident DJ Harvey. After spending a decade away from DJing, Grady returned to the decks in 2022 after settling down in Minneapolis and has been rediscovering his love for vinyl. Grady lives for the grey areas between Jazz, Funk, House, and especially Disco.
