Embahn is the solo-project of Emily Steuer. Steuer is an alternative folk singer-songwriter based in Minneapolis, MN. She is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter for the band Embahn.
Embahn utilizes finger-style picking, delay and chorus pedals, doubled, and reverbed vocals. Her soft but substantial voice weaves songs that the listener can enjoy and feel in their hearts. Capturing the swirling, chaotic and beautiful nature of the world through odd time signatures and a myriad of tunings, Embahn channels these sentiments into her songs.
