Northside Juneteenth Family Festival - Saturday, June 14th 2025

As we celebrate our community, our history, our culture and our roots we will gather on Saturday, June 14th to celebrate Juneteenth 2025.

Juneteenth commemorates the date in 1865 when news of the emancipation of African American slaves reached Galveston, Texas.

The official name of federal holiday is Juneteenth National Independence Day, also called Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Black Independence Day, and Juneteenth Independence Day.

This year is the THIRD YEAR that Juneteenth is a State Holiday in the State of Minnesota are we are thrilled to be back in person celebrating again.

We will have a host of activities including a Stage with a Live DJ, Food Court, Kid’s Zone, Community Health Fair, Black Business Marketplace Area, Local Artists & Entertainment, African Face and Body Painting, Games, Giveaway's & More!

This event is FREE & Open to ALL as we celebrate our freedom, our community and our heritage. We look forward to celebrating our community and culture with each of you!
