Music in the Parks: University of Minnesota Band Alumni Summer Band

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.

This week at The Commons we are hosting the University of Minnesota Band Alumni Summer Band. "Our band includes many generations of UMN band alumni, all the way back to the 1960's. We are primarily alumni of the UMN, but we are open to all and have many members with zero affiliation with the U."
